Paul Borden died 1/13/2012 in Bloomfield NM. He was born 2/2/1953 in Colorado Springs, to Howard and Barbara (Lee) Borden. He grew up in Colorado Springs and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Coronado High School, excelled in gymnastics earning a college scholarship. Later he worked in construction, uranium mines in Wyoming, and pipeline surveying across the US. Paul was a talented jewelry designer and accomplished silversmith. His father, and his wife Terry preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother; daughter Brooke; grandchildren Stevie, Zoe, Benny, and Paul; siblings Charles, Stephen, Mary, Carl, and Martha. Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. One of the many things we will always remember about Paul was his sense of humor. Toughest guy I ever met. Those that remember a JV practice where Paul collided with Jimmy Odel and basically ate his own facemask, played the next day with vaseline and stiches, know what I mean. CE
