Paul DeLine Obituary

Paul N. DeLine, son of Darwin and Jeanette DeLine of Colorado Springs, CO passed away peacefully on May 15, 2015.

Paul was born on June 29, 1961 in Watertown, NY. He attended schools in Watertown, NY, American school in Erlongen and Ansbach, Germany, Tacoma, WA and graduated from Fountain/Ft. Carson High School in 1979.

He enlisted in the Air Force in February of 1980. He did his Basic Training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX and Munitions Systems training at Lowery AFB, Denver, CO. He then was assigned to the Ammunitions Supply Squadron at Morbach Hahn AFB, Germany where he enjoyed trips to Paris, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Holland and Spain. During his Military Career he was also stationed at Barksdale AFB, LA, Osan AFB, South Korea and Williams AFB, AZ. Paul proudly served in the military for over six years before April 1986 when he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy and was medically retired from the Air Force.

He returned to his home in Colorado Springs, CO where he attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and earned his Baccalaureate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in May 1992. He went to earn his Masters of Business Administration degree in Information Technology of May 1997. Paul worked for the college's main campus setting up a computer lab with applications and hardware for the disabled.

Paul was determined not to let his Muscular Dystrophy hold him back. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and overseas. He visited New Zealand, Wyoming, Boston, South Dakota, Silicon Valley, New York, Illinois and Florida. He also enjoyed cooking and music od all genres.

Paul is survived by his parents and his niece, Samantha Steele. He is preceded in death by his sister Darlene.
