Paul Harper Obituary

February 2, 1943-May 18, 2008. Paul B. Harper, Jr. passed away in his home on May 18, 2008. He was born February 2, 1943 in Oberlin, KS to Paul and Catherine Harper. He graduated from Wasson High School in 1961. Paul enlisted in the Navy in 1962 and served aboard the USS Lexington based out of Pensacola, FL. He was honorably discharged in 1964. He was a Journeyman Electrician for the Jefferson County School District in Lakewood, Colorado from 1969 to 1989. Paul worked as a Journeyman Electrician for Heritage Electric in Denver from 1990 to 1992. After returning to Colorado Springs Paul worked for Smith Brothers Electric and Enclave Electric. He has been retired since 2006. He is survived by a brother, George Harper of Grand Junction, sisters Patricia Bowen-Williams and Beverly Grant, both of Colorado Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 1:00 at the Swan Law Funeral Home Chapel.
