I was stationed with Paul at my first duty station at Cannon AFB, NM in 1975 and we seemed to follow one another to Sembach, Germany 1977-79 for me and here in Colorado Springs in the early 1980's. We crossed paths here again after I retired from the service through the MSBL. My deepest sympathies to the family.

HI, I was Paul's first sponsor and supervior to Cheyenne Mountain AFS. Paul was assigned to my office upon arrival. When we met, we hit it off great, great sense of humor, and a great B.S.'er. Shortly after he was assigned, the Security Police Squadron needed a Administrative Specialist to help them, Paul volunteer, I would have liked to kept him, because we were like to two peas in a pod, we liked people, joked with people, and he had a great personality. We worked great as a team. Being his supervior, I was aware of some of his personal issues, due to being overseas and separated from his family. Paul and I talked about them, when he felt like it, and his main concern was his family and your well being. I know he had some set backs after being assigned to the Security Police, but we would talk. I am proud of his accomplishment in the Air Force after I retired in 1984. He came into the unit as a SSgt, put his act together and retired as a MSgt. His first priorities was his family, kids, and his job for his country - this he did above and beyond. Paul is a great man and individual, I have thought about him a lot since I retired, he is one of those individual that will always stick in your mind. I am proud to have known him and worked with him.
He may be gone in body, but will always be in your mind and spirit forever.
Best of luck and happiness and may his memory live on for ever.
