This is a VERY late one, I just found out!!!MAN-O-MAN, it's been so long!!!!! But I still remember those FEROCIOUSLY INVIGORATING workouts, training for boxing matches there at the good old Boys' Club on Tejon and Moreno 40+ years ago!!! Paul was SUCH a motivator and a terrific mentor! He had a great ensemble in Toby Garcia,Scott McClain and Narcisso Blea.Paul enlightened everyone in that happy place.I've never stopped thinking about Paul nor the tremendous positive impact he had on my life!!! He was also a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ as I remember! We talked about the Bible some times when he used to drive me home from training. My salutations and tribute to a wonderful human being!!! God bless you,Paul!!!Our loss on Earth is Heaven's gain

Diane, I just found out! I am so sorry for your loss and our loss I have so many fond memories of paul, I know I havent been around but, I will never forget the great times traveling with you both, during our boxing trips. You showed so much love for all of us. You treated us like your oun children. Acts 24:15 says"there is going to be a resurection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." And I look forward to seeing Paul again. Love: David Juvera

Diane:

Sorry to hear about Paul. I am not sure if you remember me ... I am Cheryl (Fear) Lynch. I used to work with you at the American Red Cross in Albany, NY when you worked for Ted Eastlund. I know it's been many many years. Currently my husband Bob (I think you met Bob before) and I and our two boys are living in Old Mystic, CT and have been since 1991. Our boys are 13 and 9 yrs old. Again, our condolences to you and your families. Drop me an e-mail whenever you get a chance. My home e-mail address is [email protected] or you can also reach me at my work e-mail, [email protected].

I am just in shock! My condolences to Paul's family. I met Paul two years ago at Old School Boxing Gym in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a great asset to the boxing community. He will be missed.

Carolyn, Mid, Steve, Diane,

It is still such a SHOCK--I keep looking at the class reunion pictures and saying, "not Paul" We knew each other from a very early age and there are many great memories. Especially having him return to the reunions--they certainly will not be the same.
Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
