Paul Steahlin Obituary

Paul has gone to the great ski hill in the sky, where skiing is great and the powder is always knee deep. Paul died peacefully at home in his sleep after a lengthy battle with cancer and pneumonia. Paul, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, was born in Glockner (Penrose) Hospital to Paul K. and M. Helen (Biddle) Steahlin, (deceased). Paul is survived by his loving wife Beatrice, daughters Terri (Ric) Vannoy; Marnie (Don) Billstone; Hillary (Brian) Schopp; step-daughter Kay Parkinson; stepson Ian Parkinson (Amanda); grandchildren Baylee, Garrett, Nicole (Jim), and great granddaughter Cailyn. Paul graduated from Colorado Springs High School and Colorado College. He was V.P. of Finance for Sinton Dairy. Paul loved to ski and was a volunteer member of the National Ski Patrol for 32 years. Family gathering at grave side. We all love him and will miss him dearly. Dearest Bea. You and Paul are such special warm and loving people and our prayers and thoughts are with you. I know you will miss your love and friend and we will too just like we do his Mom Mimi.

Our hearts go out to you & your familiy during this difficult time. May Paul rest in peace now & ski with ease.

Terri and family - so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I recognized the name as you and I attended Cheyenne Mountain schools together and I believe both of us were in the band... My prayers are with you at this sad time.

Dear Bea and family,

I will always remember the love in Paul's eyes for his dearest Bea, his sense of humor, and the kindness and caring love he always showed for his mother, Mimi.

I'm sure the members of the ski patrol where he is now are shaking their heads and wondering what mischief Paul will be causing for them next.

My love to all Paul's family.
