How blessed I am to have shared even a small part of your life on Earth. Altruistic, loving, humorous, ornery, loquacious, intelligent, inquisitive, consistent, optimistic, courageous, indispensable, resolute, buoyant, gleaming, steadfast, witty, virtuous, passionate, irreplaceable, chivalrous.....Thank you for loving all of us and accepting our love. Your love for Joseph is invaluable. His love for you is apparent every day on his face - his beard grown to emulate you. Rest in peace, sweet soul.

I wish I would have had more time with Paul as I only knew him through my brother and for a short time. In the short time that I knew him I immediately knew what kind of person he was. He treated all kindly and every time I saw him he always smiled. My family came to love him for the positive loving soul he was. It had been a while since I had seen him, but it was before everything became complicated (for more than one of us). We had a great time at a cabin in which all of my family was there. We had a great time together and that is one moment that I use to think about and it helps me to smile during rough times. Patti, my family's hearts go out to you. Paul was a one of a kind person with a perfect soul to match. We will always keep him in our hearts.

Paul was a man who knew what it meant to be a true friend. He was gifted in so many ways. His insight into life was thought-provoking, his love of music and movies and books was inspirational, and his wry sense of humor never failed to make others laugh, even if it was at themselves. Paul, you will be greatly missed by myself and so many others.
