Dear Peggy: I researched your father, "Chet", and solved a mystery. Chet M1 Raymonde Lore (b. 5 July 1897 Angers, France) in Lv, KS. According to their passport applications via ancestry.com, they had 2 boys-Benjamin Daniel Pike (b. 7 July 1921 Lv, KS) and Pierre Joseph Pike (b. 30 Nov. 1922 New Orleans, LA). Chet traveled w/Benjamin via New York to France and Raymonde traveled w/ Pierre via New Orleans to France, both in 1923. Nothing more is known of the 2 boys. And of course Chet came back and met your mother Jane and had you and your later brother. I just found this the other day and felt you would love this. Rest in Peace.

Dear Peggy: It was great meeting you for the first time via ancestry.com and on the phone. We soon met in Leavenworth with your sister, Jean. I took you to see your father at Ft. Lv. cemetery and cousin Buddy Baskas. I often thought of you and your family. I submitted a picture of us during yours and Jean's visit. Rest in Peace!

Grandma-
Man do I feel like I got the short end of the stick. You were one of the most amazing women in my life and I only got you for three years. But let me say in those three years I had so much fun and enjoyed every moment of it. From shopping to just hanging out talking there was never a dull moment. I love you so much and miss you dearly. I will strive my whole life to be half the women you were. You had so much love and compassion for everything you did. and man could you see your love for Jesus in everything you did. I am blessed now to have your son as my father and though it was hard in the begining, I am so thankful. You did an amazing job raising him and touching everyone you came in contact with. Thank you for loving me like your own and just excepting me in to your family. I will never forget you and will carry you in my heart until we meet again in the glory of our heavenly father. I love you Grandma more then you would ever know!

When I think of Peggy, I remember a big smile and a laugh to go with it. There isn't anyone that didn't meet her and immediately feel loved by her, myself included.

Heaven is a better place now that she is there.

Paul, I used to look after your Mom and Dad at PPCC. Your Mother had called me early in April, and unfortunatly I could not go see her as I got sick with the flu. She was a remarkable woman and someone I will never forget. The love she had for your Father and you and your siblings. I will miss her greatly when I go visit the others. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers....God Bless.

I only met Peggy twice. Once, when being introduced for her son Paul's wedding, and once a year later when she was addmitted into the hospital. She's a sweat woman, who created some great kids. I'm sure she is enjoying conversations with friends and family above, pointing down to her kids with a Great big smile, and saying.... "I'm so Proud of those kids of mine!"
Best wishes to Peggy Finch, and the family she created!

I will always remember Peggy’s laugh! I loved that she ‘honored’ me by sharing Lyle with me and always joking about who’s son he was dependant on what silliness he’d been up to. She enriched the lives of everyone she met with her infectious smile, loving hugs, and joyous laughter. I am blessed to have known her.

May the wonderful memories of her loving life warm your hearts forever; God’s peace strengthen you and uphold you.

All our love,
“Mom & Dad”

I love you mom, we had so much fun and laughter over the years with so many great memories that we will both cherish for all eternity. Keep all of those that are with you now laughing until such time that I and the rest of your loved ones join you. Then let the fun really begin. I am what I am with great tribute to you, thank you, with love Lyle.

Mom, you welcomed me into the family when we first met, 29 years ago. You called me your daughter even before I married your wonderful son. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to have you as my second mom. I love you and will miss you.

Mom, I treasure every moment we had together and I only wish we had more time! God has blessed me with a wonderful and fun mother-in-law who loved the Lord. I know we would've been best friends, because we were off to an awesome start!

Thank you for raising such an amazing son, I love him so much. He is a great husband and father and I know that's because of you!

Until we meet again my sweet, sweet love... and that time it'll be for eternity and nothing can separate us! You will be forever in my heart.
