Peggy Freeman Obituary

With profound sadness and sorrow the family of Peggy Marlene Freeman announces her unexpected passing March 22, 2007 in a local hospital. Peggy was born April 4, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri to Pauline and Eddie Albauer. She graduated from East High School, Kansas City, Missouri in 1950. Peggy moved to Colorado Springs in the late 1950's. She was a homemaker, a school secretary at Chamberlin Elementary School and a dietician at Junior Academy Children Centers and retired in 1994. Peggy was a devoted mother, Granny and friend who always put others' needs and happiness before her own. There was a very special place in her heart for her great granddaughters Shelby and Kylie. Her memory will forever live in our hearts and her shining spirit will light our path through life. Preceding her in death are parents Eddie and Pauline Albauer and grandson Adem Lee. Surviving Peggy are daughter Debbi Lee, grandson Brandon Lee, grand daughter Tina Kincaid and husband Aaron, great granddaughters Shelby and Kylie. Also surviving are her son David Freeman and wife Julia, grandson Justin Freeman and fiancée Kris Williams. Numerous extended family members will miss her as well. Visitation will be held at Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade, Thursday March 29 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm. Services will be held at Swan Law Chapel, Friday March 30 at 1:00 pm. A private burial will be held for family members at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the services.
