I also was a classmate of Penny's. I did not get to know her much more than passing in the hallways...maybe one or two classes together over the 4 yrs there. She most usually was upbeat and a happy person. I too, was happy to meet up with her again on face book. I'm sorry for her families loss. Bless you all and may Penny forever rest in peace!

as an old high school friend, I reconnected with Penny on Facebook. I was surprised at how much we had in common. Wish I had re-united with her in person. She was a special lady.
My condolences to her family.

I am so grateful that my husband and I were able to visit with Penny two years ago while visiting Colorado Springs. She was so vibrant, bubbling over about her family, happy with her life it is difficult to think of her with her final sickness. May she forever rest in peace.
