Pete was my brother-in-law, married to my sister Patty, and although I have already signed the guest book I want to add a deep felt and sincere thank you to all who have given of themselves to help ease the pain for Patty. I know that Patty is forever grateful.

Pete was one of a kind that's why God called for him so early in life. I am sure God has a specail place for him to help out. In my way of putting things Pete was CADILLAC, he will always be in are memories and harts.

I owe many of the lessons I have learned about life to Coach Pete. As players on Coach Pete’s park and recreational youth football team, he had a positive influence on my friends and me very early on. Later, he even volunteered to follow us onto high school by taking the job of freshman coach at Saint Mary’s. Recently, I had the pleasure of having Coach Pete step into my life once again. Life as a Cadet is sometime very monotonous and gloomy, but every once in a while I would have the opportunity to run into Coach Pete around campus, and he never once failed to brighten my day.

I did not know Pete except as a classmate. During my own current trials and a visit to the office of St. Mary's High School, I was informed by the office at St. Mary's of Pete's death. I felt compelled to let you know of the compassion, concern and care of those individuals at St. Mary's and of their informing me of a classmate's demise. I will be at the funeral tomorrow, .. just because. My regards and sympathy to each of you.

Pete was a classmate and football teammate of mine at St Mary's. He was a great ballplayer, a good friend and an All-American guy. My brother Mark and I send our condolences to Pete's family and friends.

Time or space will not allow me to share so many fond memories of Pete. From my first Bronco game, fishing trips in Montana and all of our family gatherings. He will be greatly missed. We love you guys.

Pete was always a gentleman and a scholar. He always gave 100 percent whether it was on the football field or engaged in conversation. His legacy lives on through his family and the memories of all his friends and colleagues. God bless his soul.

Pat, Peg and Pete's family--
Although it has has been years (73) since I last saw Pete, memories of him bring a smile. I hold you in my thoughts, and wish you strength during this tough time.

Coach Pete was instrumental in my boy's life at a time when he needed a Godly man as a role model. I have often times thought about how much impact Coach had on our family.

My son, now 20, has just entered the Navy and will be sad to hear this news. He will, however, be comforted to know that Coach is at home with Jesus and that he will see him again one day.

Although I was a friend of Pete's younger brother Bob, i knew Pete and his family fairly well and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

You have our deepest sympathies in your time of sorrow. Pete was always very kind to me. I admire Pete for the way that his grandchildren adored him.

I didn't know Pete very well because he was an upper classmen at St. Mary's. You never let yourself get too close to a Junior on the Football team if you were just a Freshmen. I was in Bob Herron's class (graduated with him) and will keep Bob, Pete's wife, children, and grand children, and all the Herron's immediate family in my prayers. God's Blessings to you all.
