I got to know Peter and Louise through my work at Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation and now Goodwill Foundation. They were both wonderful people who greatly impacted our community. They will live long in our memories!

I have great memories of Mr. King (from CIG) and from my sitting with him when his secretary (Eileen) was on vacation. The first time I was intimidated by his title but I quickly got over that because he made me quite comfortable. I remember his last day at CIG I spent some time in his office talking with him and he told me "you've grown quite a bit over the years, more confident than when I first met you." We kept in touch every year at Christmas, their card was always one of the first to arrive. Many cards included pictures of them from one of their many trips; one of my favorite pictures is one in which he is celebrating his 80th birthday. I am so thankful to have had the blessing of both Mr. & Mrs. King in my life they were both beautiful and gracious people.

My sincerest sympathy to the family and know they will both be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Peter King was one of those exceptional executives than many people loved to work for. I had enormous admiration for him. He was very kind to me and my family.
