I met Boo and his family in the mid to late 1950s when my parents took us from Corpus Christi, TX to enjoy wonderful vacations at the Triple B Ranch for a couple of summers to escape the South Texas heat.

I was checking today about the fire near Woodland Park and am worried about the ranch. My research brought me to Boo's obituary.

I had a young girl's crush on Boo when we were both small children those two summers long ago. He was such a fun playmate.

I often wondered about him and his parents, but never saw them again.

I am saddened to learn of his death at such an early age, but happy to know that he had such a loving family over the years. I was also sad to learn of his mom's and Bud's deaths.
Sincerely,
Susan Bailey

As the days and weeks pass by may you always feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Most of my memories of "Boo" comes from the class reunions that I would go to with my Mother. It was a joy to me on those occasions, I could only imagine the joy he brought to his friends and family every day.
He will be loved and missed for many ears to come. My hart goes out to all of you! Jacquelyn Clay & Judy (Clay) Kaufman

Phil was a friend, co-worker, union brother, and boss. Phil loved his family the ranch. And anyone who knew Phil knows the pride and love he had for both of them. Phil was also a man that stood up for his beliefs. Phil should always be with us when we think of family and the working men and women. Phil made life richer, simply by being Phil.

To the Burns family,
I had the blessed opportunity to know Phil through IUOE Local 9 as a secretary at the Grand Junction Hall, and my husband even longer as a fellow brother of IUOE Local 9. Phil will very much be missed. I never met someone who loved his family, kids and grandkids more than Phil. He shared all the pictures with us at work even after he retired. Heaven must have needed a "Special" Angel, and that is Phil.
Peace and Love to all the family left behind.
