My dearest friend Gloria,
It was a sad call the day you phoned to tell me of the passing of Phillip. I really felt your pain. He was an awesome person, so accomplished and very courageous. I'm sorry I can't be with you at this time, but my thoughts are with you and your family.
Friends forever,

DEAR GLORIA AND FAMILY,
OUR LOVE AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME. WE HAVE ONLY THE FONDEST MEMORIES OF PHILIP. YOU BOTH BEING ARE NEAREST COUSINS GROWING UP, WE ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO YOUR VISITS. I WAS TALKING TO JANET AND ROCHELLE AND WE WERE REMEMBERING HOW WE WOULD FIGHT OVER WHO PHILILP WOULD LIFT UP AND THROW IN THE AIR.
HE ALWAYS HAD SO MUCH PATIENCE WITH US. AT THE PASSOVER SEDER ON SUNDAY NIGHT AUNTIE SHIRLEY WAS SAYING HOW WONDERFUL IT WAS OVER THE YEARS TO SHARE PASSOVER WITH NELLIE,SAMMY, YOU AND PHILILP. WE ALL REMEMBERED HOW YOUR FATHER AND PHILILP WOULD HARMONIZE THE SONGS AT SEDER,AND THE JOKE TELLING THAT NEVER STOPPED WITH STEPHEN.
WE LOVE YOU ALL,
AUNTIE SHIRLEY,YOUR COUSINS, MANYA,PAUL,STEPHEN,YVETTE,ROCHELLE,

Dear Family
I am sending you my heartfelt sympathies on the recent death of a wonderful, father, brother and very special uncle. Phillip will always be remembered for what he was and how lucky for you to have had him. Phillip has left his mark on everyone that he touched. What a legacy. But it is not often that we go through life and have the opportunity to meet and know someone so special. May all his great qualities get you through this trying time.
Fondly,
Edie Orleans
