Phyllis Summers Obituary

Phyllis Evelyn Summers, left us to be with God and join her Husband, William Summers and Son, Jim Summers on May 13, 2007 at the age of 94. Born September 22, 1912. She lived as a young adult in Colorado Springs and attended Colorado College. Later, Phyllis moved to Denver and spent her adult life as a Loving Mother and Homemaker. In 2004 Phyllis returned to Colorado Springs. She brought Peace and Happiness to every life she touched and was loved by everyone. There was not a day in her life that she did not smile at the joy of life and the people around her. Surviving are her daughter Nancy Summers, Son Darrell Summers, Grandchildren, Tony Blea, Annette and David Brinker, Jodi Blea, Matthias Heilbronn, and Jill Monds and Family, Rebecca Justis and Family, Deborah Shiba and Family. Great Grandchildren: Michael Blea, Jordon Weissman, Austen Brinker and Marvin Blea-Heilbronn. We also thank all of the Staff at Garden of The Gods Care Center. Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday May 18th at Garden of The Gods Care Center. Burial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday May 18th at Crown Hill Cemetery.
