Preston Allison Obituary

Preston Scott Allison passed away at his home in Dallas, Texas from Melanoma Cancer. Scott was born on Novem-ber 11, 1960 in Billings, Montana. His family moved to Colorado Springs when he was two. Shortly after graduation from Coronado High School, Scott moved to Dallas, Texas. He worked for Southern Methodist University for over twenty years. He spent his summers buying and renovating older homes. Scott was awesome in turning older houses into beautiful homes. Scott did most of the work himself and took great care to details from landscaping to exquisite wood and tile work. Scott enjoyed traveling, visiting museums, and spending time with dear friends. He is survived by his parents Gordon and Nedra Allison, brother Gordon and wife Terri - their children Joshua and Jessica; his sister Colleen Gafford and her children Preston Taft; Allison and husband Bryor Price, Barrett Taft and Courtney Gafford; his brother Kelly and wife Nancy, their children Sheena and Brandon; his brother Tyler and wife Jan and their children Shelbe and Keaton; his Grandmother Thelma and his many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We are really going to miss him.

Scott was one of my earliest childhood friends, pre-kindergarten. Then as often happens, we lost touch after high school. But we had some crazy adventures there in the Springs, cruising around the Valley on our sting-ray bikes. He sure had the talent to make you laugh, and almost always seemed up. Anyone would be privileged to have been his friend.

Dear Allison Family,
My heart and prayer go out to you, I am so sorry to hear about Scott. We lost touch a long time ago, and I have tried to look him up many times over the years with no luck. All of my best memories of growing up were with him and all of you. My heart and prayers go out to all of you.
Scott, man you made me laugh like no one could. We had so many good times, and I always looked up to you. Thank You. God Bless You.

To my wonderful brother in law Scott whom I am glad I was fortunate to know,
When I think of you I always see your smile and your creative mind and heart. It really showed through the things you were interested in and cared about. You loved your family and friends very much and I will always remember how you were interested their lives and things they were into. You have always been good hearted and caring about everyone around you and you always made people feel good about themselves. You were wonderful to all of your nieces and nephews, Shelbe and Keaton will always remember how you made their Christmas at Grandma and Grandpas so special by surprising them with their favorite gifts of all, huge dinosaurs that were almost as big as they were. (they still have them)
We love you very much and will miss you terribly but we know we will see you again.
Love you always,
Jan
