Quintin, I remember play ball with you at Gibbons. You got the rebound and passed it to me while I made the fast break, all awhile you were yelling trimperkowski! I never asked you why you called me that name, it was just cool that you did. Now 40 years later, I still see your smile and your laughter. Oh by the way, youre still an underclass man. Thanks for the memories brother. CG class of 78.

As a former team mate at Gibbons, I saw Quintin develop through high school years. We develpoed a friendship beyond basketball and I could see beyond his athletic skills. I choose to remember the good things, as God's grace washes away the sins of each of us who believe!
Thanks for the memories during the many road trips to Philly, VA, Cumberland., MD and other sites. Basketball was family at Gibbons. I have now lost a coach and two team mates in Quintin and Dwayne Purnell.
Prayerfully, as we trust Christ's sacrifice, we will all get together once again in heaven.
God bless the family and kids!

TO THE DAILEY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES:
To lose a loved one is like losing a piece of yourself…But the love Quintin brought you did not leave…the essence of him lingers…It can’t escape your heart for it’s been there so long. Cling to the memories and let them find their way to heal your heart. The love and the laughter, the joy and the togetherness you shared will make you strong. You’ll come to realize that your time together, no matter how long or short that you were blessed to have such a precious gift in your life.
Although at this time you may feel a deep sorrow that is not easily dispelled, the God of comfort will help you through this time of sadness. He says: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.” - Isaiah 41:10.
Let the loving and fond memories of Quintin engulf your hearts and minds and keep you moving forward.

I was shock and sadden to hear the news about Quintin this week. I met Q in 1979 at USF and his room was two down from mine. We share plenty good times together and became friends doing so. We also share an apartment together for one year. Unfortunately we got out of touch with one another and I have been trying to track him down when I found out he was in the Las Vegas area. Wish we could have spoke and visit before this happen. R.I.P. my brother, I'll never forget the times we spent together and friendship we shared. First of all, I will miss "Q" 's smile and laugh that he gave when things looked rough. In my opinion, he approached most of his obstacles in an aggressive manner with a smile. When Quintin stepped on the basketball court at St. Mary's Star of The Sea in the early 70's, I knew he was special. He played on my CYO Teams back then. Our competition cringed when they played us knowing they had to go up against Quintin. He was the spark that Gibbons needed to make that school a powerhouse in basketball for several years. Future Gibbons stars played there because Quintin lead the way. He is without a doubt the best basketball player ever to come out of St. Mary's, South Baltimore and Cardinal Gibbons High School. Keep hitting your patented jumper up there. Your vertical leap took you right to heaven. No one did it better than you....RIP my former player and friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Quinci and Quintin. Your Dad was an amazing person since a very young age. He was truly beautiful, gifted and giving in so many ways. He was a very close part of my family when he moved to St. Mary's School where his basketball career began. My brother and him were always together playing ball. My sister drove him everywhere for practices and games. She passed away in 2006 at age 50 so I am sure has greeted him with open arms in heaven. We loved your Dad, the legend, the great guard from Baltimore Quintin. Sr. He was wonderful and always touched so many lives. I can only imagine how great he was at his job with the youth.
Now remember he is living in you. You will always have his memories and are a part of him.
With sincere sympathy,

I remember Quintin from Cardinal Gibbons High School. The thing I remember about him other than his obvious all star B ball talent was his hand eye coordination. We had 2 pool tables in high school. If he got to break you might not get to ever make a shot. He would sink all of the balls before you even got a chance. I've never seen anyone play pool like Quintin.
We had a carnival every year at school. Even with the over inflated basketballs and tiny rims the carnival guys would use, Quintin would still sink all of the shots and win the big prize. I think they banned him from that event because he was cleaning them out. The owner of the carnival was a classmate who loved Quintin too. Quintin was a great guy!
I'll miss you my friend.
Sincerely,
