R. Jacobson Obituary

R. Eric Jacobson, age 56, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on December 14, 2015, at his home in Colorado.

Son of Nola and Bob Jacobson of Monona, WI, he was born on May 22, 1959, in Madison, WI. Eric graduated from Monona Grove High School and Colorado College in Colorado Springs. As a Senior-level, national competitor in ice dancing, Eric dedicated much of his life to his love of Figure Skating. He was highly-dedicated and toured the country performing, which brought great joy to his family. He earned many awards and national recognition and also judged various figure skating competitions in Colorado.

Eric is survived by Kristi (David) Massey of Cottage Grove; Libby Massey (John Van de Kamp) of Chicago, Erik (Kelli) Massey of McFarland and Kelsey (Jordan) Crump of Scottsdale, Arizona.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Colorado Springs this coming summer.
