Ra Nguyen Obituary
Ra came to Colorado Springs in June of 1997 from Vietnam and worked at Avalanche Industries until July of 2005. She then spent a time at home with her family. She became a Nail Tech in 2009 and began working at the nail shop in the Fountain Wal-Mart, where her clients knew her as "Jenny".
Ra is survived by her husband, Bach Nguyen; daughter, Phung Nguyen; son, Hoang Nguyen. Also surviving are her parents, Phuong and Bien Nguyen; brothers Dep Nguyen, Hai Nguyen; sisters Hoa Powilleit and Huong, Nga, Nen and Hong Nguyen.
In her spare time Ra enjoyed going to the park and playing with her dogs, shopping and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8th from 4 - 8 PM and Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 4 - 8 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. A Rosary will be said each evening at 6:30 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at 7:00 PM on November 16, 2013 at the Vietnamese Catholic Church, 1133 N. Wasatch, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation, 2550 Tenderfoot Hill Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906.

I met this Princess at the Walmart salon where she worked. She was so kind and great at my nails. I always asked for her. Not just for the nails, but because she is so sweet and gentle. I will miss her.

I didn't know Ra personally but she would come to the senior apt building where my mom lives and do manicures and pedicures for the residents. She will be missed by my mom, who said that she was a very nice person and very giving of her self. May she find the peace and comfort in Heaven. Our condolences to her family. We are so sorry for your loss.
