Five years. It feels like a blink and a lifetime all at once. We still miss your beautiful face, that smile that lights up a room. We think of you often, especially when we catch an incredible sunrise or sunset. You are in every stunning snow capped peak we see, every field of wildflowers showing off the incredible beauty in God's creation. Love you baby girl. Sunflower

Dear sweet Rachel, we think of you all the time, we have your gifts of art all over our house. We have so many wonderful memories of your kind spirit. When I think of Hattie and swim meets and trips to New York you come to me, always smiling and always a joy to have around. We miss you kid

I worked with Rachel at Buffalo Wild Wings in Alamogordo...thought I'd share a short memory for her parents. One night while working with her, her parents were sitting at the bar ... I think they were visiting...and I don't know why I always remembered this but she had been talking to them at the bar for a while and when she came back to where we all had been standing, she had told me I just love my parents so much, they're the best. And I always remembered that moment because she was so genuine and you could see how much she meant it. Thought this might be a nice memory for her mom and dad to know. My prayers are with you all and she will definitely be remembered

Rachel!

We worked together such a short time, but I followed you on your social media. We were both babies when we met but you left an impression in my life. When i heard of your passing, I was in utter shock. I couldn't imagine a light so bright wasnt on this earth any longer. I hope that wherever you are you have found the utmost peace. You will be so missed friend.

Rachel you were such a bright star, shining for the world to see. Your love and laughter gave light to everyone who knew you. So many adventures, so many pictures, so many songs. We are all the better for knowing you. Baby girl, I miss you. May all who know you come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. The only way I'm breathing is because I know I'll see you again. Until our reunion...

Dearest baby girl,
This morning as I sat here snuggling with Hattie (the tinyest kitten you rescued in Manhattan and brought to me) we learned of your passing.
Your energy shines bright here as I marvel at the paintings you created that adorn our home.
Remembering the times you shared your joy, love and energy are so very bittersweet on this saddest of days.
Rafferty clan, I can think of no words to ease your pain, I am so, so very sorry, Rachel was truly a wonderous, adventurous, loving and giving soul.
May your faith embrace you as you travel through this profound sadness.
Thank you for sharing your dear sweet baby girl with us, we love her dearly.
