Ralph Bailey Obituary

Ralph Bailey, 89, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on June 2, 2014 at his home in Yuma, Arizona. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for many years in civil service. He retired on April 18, 1980 from housing maintenance at Peterson Field.

Ralph was born on October 5, 1924 in Spencer, Iowa to the late Lloyd and Grace (Harrison) Bailey. He was married on November 17, 1946 to Leona, who passed away in 1999.

He is survived by two sons, Mark and Marvin; two daughters, Cindy Beasley and Jodi Leonard; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, and a great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Private interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
