Ralph Lindeman

April 18, 1951

March 6, 2022

Ralph was a dedicated Christ-follower, a devoted husband, proud father, doting grandfather, and passionate coach. His faith was only matched by his character and desire to serve others. His path in life allowed him to trust more and to fear less. He constantly challenged and inspired those around him to be success driven and goal oriented and will continue to do so through his legacy.

Born in Chicago, he grew up in Arizona and spent the last 33 years in Colorado Springs where he enjoyed fly-fishing, golfing, and exploring great BBQ during his travels. Yet his true love, and where his heart remained focused, was on his family. He is survived by his wife Cindy, son Brian, daughter Jennifer and six grandchildren.

Service information can be found on the AFA Track and Field website, www.goairfocefalcons.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ralph Lindeman Memorial Fund for Track & Field/Cross Country Excellence, link on AFA website.

I was one of Ralph's high school teachers and remember him as a talented athlete, good student, and very conscientious. I especially remember how he injured his leg his senior year in football. My sincere sympathy to his wife, children, and grandchildren. His impact as a coach will live on in the lives of his former athletes.

No words can take away the pain in this moment. While Ralph is with his Lord and Savior, those touched by him are hurting. My prayers are for them all. May God´s peace and comfort be here with them, and during the months to come.

I´ve known Ralph since his Arizona days. He was a valued friend & honest man. I enjoyed our times together at meets or at the Olympics in 2004. My prayers to his family. I´ll treasure the memories!
