Ralph Warren Lyon, 82 passed away suddenly on May 1, 2015, in Florence, Colorado.
Ralph was born in Lansing, Michigan, to Claude and Minnie Lyon on October 30, 1932.
He graduated from Everett High School in 1950 and joined the Air Force. On his tour of duty in Rapid City, South Dakota he married Pearl Pourier on July 17, 1954.

At the age of 60, he suffered a massive stroke which left him confined to a wheelchair. He would now learn patience and begin his valiant struggle with the lost of his independence. He returned to Colorado to live with his son Bob and wife Tami and their two sons, Jesse and Kyle. They would be his loving caretakers over the next twenty years.
Ralph moved to Bruce McCandless Colorado Veterans Community Living Center, where his adjustment would take time. At the Living Center, he would be cranky, a smart aleck and fun all at once.
He taught us loyalty, honesty and hard work. He made the best pancakes every Saturday morning. He would affectionately give you a nickname, Brommie, Dingo Berry, Sally Bean, Dum Dum, Misery, Magoo, Rug Rat and the Warden. He was a true cat lover and a big Tony Stewart fan.
