Wayne Marshall was larger than life, whether walking the halls of AAHS, standing rinkside, or sitting in his living room. I feel fortunate that I was able to know him in all three areas. Trish, I'm so sorry I was not able to be there last weekend, but you, Andrew and Whitney have been in my thoughts often these past few weeks. He was truly a great man!

A wonderfully spirited rival and friend. A true ambassador for high school hockey, and legendary coach. We, at Liberty hockey, enjoyed doing battle with Wayne and Air Academy and certainly shared a lot of great memories over the years. Deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the entire Marshall family. God Bless.

Wayne had a great laugh and was so fun to be around. I cherish our football seasons in the booth together while he announced the games. We had far too many jokes up there and enjoyed one another's company. Praying that the Marshall family will be comforted and peace will rest in their hearts. "See ya at the next game, coach."

I have known Wayne for over 40 years. We competed on the softball field against each other as well. We played together as seniors when we were over the age of fifty. He has joined one heck of a team in heaven. Norm Ring catcher, Bama Carden Herm Castenada Bobby Geick Bo Bolling pitchers, Don McInney at 1st, Darrel Showers second, Larry Laxton at Short. At 82 I know it will not be long before I join the team. Put in a good word for those of us that have managed to enjoy a few more days here on earth. My condolences to Wayne's family. You will be in our prayers.
