Randall Stagner Obituary

Randall "Randy" Scott Stagner journeyed from this life on January 17, 2016. Randy was born in Lamar, Colorado to Arthur Lee and Vivian Darlene (Newman) Stagner on June 10, 1956 at 9:15am. He had 7 other siblings. He moved to Colorado Springs at the age of 10 and lived here most of his life. He also lived in Rawlins, WY; Castle Rock, CO; Estero, FL and Saudi Arabia. Randy had a 30+ year career in the Fire Service working with Stratmoor FD (CO), Security FD (CO), Ivywild FD (CO), Estero FD (FL) as well as serving in Saudi Arabia. Later in life he worked as a Guardian Ad Litem, and worked with various organizations including CASA. He also participated in various political campaigns and loved to share his views.

Randy is proceeded in death by his parents, Arthur and Vivian Stagner, his sister Sherryl Leff, his brother Joe Lee Stagner, his nephew Trevor Scott Hastings, and his Grandparents.

He is survived by Sherry (Gallagher) Stagner, daughter Shannon Romero, and granddaughter Elyssia Romero all of Aurora, CO; Sandra Stagner of Lehigh Acres, FL; Linda (Benny) Hanks of Colorado Springs, CO; Rodney (Stephanie) Stagner of Colorado Springs, CO; Valerie Stagner of Kremmling, CO; Jacque (Charles) Essex of Fountain, CO; as well as 31 nieces, 33 nephews, 10 grandnieces and nephews.

He loved animals and recently had 2 ducks, named Kat & Dawg, 2 cats, named Mama Cat & Duk, and a Boxer named Molly, who was by his side when he passed.

Visitation will be at Evergreen Funeral Home Monday, January 25, 2016 from 12:00 Noon. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
