Randell Eugene Hayes was born to Loyd Dell and Verian Constance (Speicher) Hayes in Smith Center, Kansas. He passed away from an accident while helping a neighbor near his home in Florissant, Colorado. Randy attended Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas in 1981 and graduated with a computer science degree. While at KWU, he set the decathlon record in track and field and still holds it as of today.
Randy married Dolores (Dee) Ann Feagin on April 17, 1993. Randy gained two sons, Jeff and Kasey Feagin. Randy and Dee moved to Florissant, Colorado in 2018. Unfortunately Dee passed away in May of 2022.
Preceding Randy in death are: Dolores Ann Hayes (Smith), wife; Loyd and Verian Hayes, parents; Pearl Ryan Hayes (step mother of 19 years).
Survivors include sons Jeff and Kasey Feagin and families from Colorado. Sisters Cindy Fassler in Lafayette, Colorado; Janice Wright in Ellensburg, Washington; Lee Ann Shearer in Almena, Kansas and their families.
