Randy Bowen Obituary

Randy L. Bowen, age 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Summerville, South Carolina on Sunday morning, October 25, 2015. He was a long time resident of Colorado Springs and recently had been enjoying life in South Carolina.

He was born August 28, 1951 in Kokomo, IN to Leslie and Dorothy Bowen. He is survived by his wife: Karen Bowen; his daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Hector Diaz; his son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Lisa Bowen; previous wife, Jayne Bowen; grandchildren, Connor Diaz, Spencer Diaz, James Bowen, Victoria Bowen, and Cole Bowen; siblings, Gary Bowen, Anita McIntosh, and Diana Marshall.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, and Papa. As a father he supported his family with lots of love, good advice, and life lessons. His quick wit and sense of humor brought laughter to his family and everyone who knew him. He lit up a room with his sweet and funny personality. In his spare time he enjoyed being with family, playing music, golfing, and woodworking.

Cremation has occurred in South Carolina and a private burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
