Randy Craig Hall was born 8/22/1952 and passed away on 2/5/2021 of natural causes.
Randy was born in Idaho but lived in Colorado Springs most of his life and loved it. When he came to the Springs he was a bit of a hippie in the late 60's. He learned custom carpentry and started R&M Custom Woodworking with his friend Monte in a garage Over time his business grew and is still in operation as Hall's Custom Woodworks. Anytime you have a drink at the Broadmoor bar, his woodwork will surround you. He also did custom cabinetry and carpentry for many fabulous homes in the Springs over the years with the best teams of carpenters in town and Kim who worked in the office helping him to manage the business.
He had many interests such as fly fishing, Harley motorcycles, football, listening to great music and reading novels. Randy also had many wonderful close friends who were like family to him. He had a big heart and was always generous and helped many over the years.
In 2005 Randy lost his 17 year old son Corey whom he loved more than anything in the world. Randy's ashes will be buried with Corey in Woodland Park. A celebration of his life will be held when it's safe for large gatherings.
He is survived by his much loved stepson David and his wife Amanda, niece Deborah and her husband David and his sister Bonnie and her husband Raymond as well as more nieces and nephews and countless friends. He also left behind his beloved dogs Smokey and Bandit who now have a new home now.
It is difficult to describe the loss we all feel but picture him on a sunny afternoon by a river fly fishing with his son Corey and you will know he's in heaven.

Randy (Rabbit) became a friend over thirty years ago when he performed the woodwork in our home we were building. He then also became a customer of ours at Op-Tech. We knew him through good and tough times and it is truly beautiful to think of him and Corey fly fishing in Heaven. Verle and Kathy Kelly and people at Op-Tech. Our prayers are with his family now and in the future

Randy was our neighbor and we always enjoyed our talks with him when we’d be in our backyards, talking over the fence or meet him out front when we both were grabbing our mail. He was always so kind and had such a gentle presence. I was and am so sad to hear this news, but know he is with his son again, whom we know he missed incredibly. Randy, we hope you’re at peace. You will be missed!
