Ray Moore Obituary

Ray Newton Moore, 57, died unexpectedly and returned to his heavenly home on May 28, 2015.

Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1957 to Ray Sr. and Betty Jean Moore, Ray gave his life to Jesus at the tender age of twelve. He graduated in 1981 from East Carolina University. With a degree in Graphic Design he began a loving career serving the Lord as a graphic designer/director for CRU, NavPress, Focus on the Family, and Family Talk.

Ray loved passing along the great love and joy he experienced with the Lord Jesus through his laughter, encouragement, and service to others in whatever way they needed. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Moore Sr. of Maryland.

Ray is survived by his wife, Jean Moore of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughter, Savannah Moore of New York; his son, Strider Moore of Colorado Springs; his mother, Betty C. Armstrong of Maryland; and three siblings.

Memorial Service, 11:00AM, June 5, 2015, New Life Church, World Prayer Center, 11025 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ray's life.
