Raymond Harvey Armstrong, 83, of Fountain, Colorado passed away April 28, 2021 at Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 14, 1937 to Howard and Edith Armstrong.
Raymond joined the Air Force at age 16. He was a fighter pilot and instructor. After 33 years he retired as Lieutenant Colonel. During Raymond's esteemed career he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Distinguished Presidential Unit Citation and many more.
Later in life he became a teacher and taught economics and math.
He is survived by his wife; and five children.
Funeral Service, 12:00PM, Monday, May 10, 2021, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
Attendees will be capped at 100 people and masks/facial coverings are required.
A private Graveside Service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, May 10, 2021.
