Raymond Gibson Obituary

Resident of San Pablo, CA
Raymond ("Ray") Dell Gibson passed away peacefully on June 19, 2014 at the age of 79. He was born to Dell and May Gibson in Ogden, Utah. Ray served in the Army during the Korean War era. He relocated to Richmond, California once his tour was complete and later to San Pablo where he remained for more than 50 years. He was a short-distance truck driver until retirement. Ray enjoyed flying, riding horses and motorcycles. He also enjoyed summers at Lake Berryessa. Ray is survived by his mother, May Gibson, children Connie Olson, Kathy Gibson and Scott Gibson (Esther), 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Thank you to Toyon Care (Pinole) and Gentiva Hospice (Walnut Creek) for their care, patience and understanding.
Funeral services to be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm. at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive, Vallejo. A reception will be held immediately after the service.
