Raziah Barnes Obituary

Raziah Linise Barnes was born June 28, 2002 in Smithfield, North Carolina. She died April 17, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 13.

Raziah was in 8th grade at Banning Lewis Ranch Academy and was looking forward to attending Pine Creek High School.

She was known for her smile and giggle by most everyone. She really loved helping people and volunteering for her school and church. Raziah always gave out an abundance of hugs whether anyone needed one or not.

Raziah dreamed of being a star actress and singer. She would often dress up to make music videos and loved to sing praise and worship with her grandmother. In addition to her love for singing and dancing, she was a selfie queen, constantly taking selfie photos.

She also enjoyed cooking, reading and hanging out with her friends as well as helping take care of her brothers and sisters.

Raziah leaves to remember her; her parents; Tricia and Terrance Jackson; brothers; Christion Pinkney, Cayden Patterson, and Terrance Jackson, II; her sisters; Janai and Taylor Jackson; her grandparents; Joan and Winston Agard and Margaret and William Jackson; her uncles; Roderick (Malissa) Agard, Mark Agard, Darryl (Bertha) Jackson; and Dedrick (Antoinette) Jackson and a host of cousins, great aunts, great uncles, close friends, and extended family.

Visitation, 2:00PM to 4:00PM, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Funeral Service, 6:30PM, Monday April 25, 2016 at Church For All Nations, 6540 Templeton Gap Rd, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton, North Carolina.
