Rebecca Bernhard Obituary

Rebecca Ann Bernhard of Colorado Springs passed away on December 10th, 2009. She was 49 years old and passed after a yearlong battle with cancer. She was born in Bishop, California and eventually moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she met and married the love of her life, Lee Bernhard. Rebecca and Lee married in 1991 and were blessed with a son, Shane in 1994. Rebecca enjoyed life and worked as a photographer at Bernhard and Williams Photography in Las Vegas, where her talents created cherished and lasting memories for the thousands of people that she photographed. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1998 where they pursued their life long love of photography and created "Colorado Classic Images," and Rebecca's "Classics for Childhood" web store and boutique. Rebecca was a Godly woman with warmth and love that showed in all that she did. When one met Rebecca and became a friend, it was for life! All that knew her felt her sweet gift of love and Godly compassion. Rebecca was a long time member of Liberty Baptist Church in Las Vegas and was most recently a member of High Country Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. Her husband Lee, son Shane, daughters Emily and Jennifer, 15 grandchildren, her mother Laurettta, three brothers, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews survive will miss her. Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM this Sunday, December 20th at High Country Baptist Church, 5525 Astrozon Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.
