Rebecca Becky Gomez
1951 - 2017
Rebecca "Becky" Gomez, 66, of Fountain, CO, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on September 25, 2017 joining her daughter, Elida and her siblings Syliva Martinez and Robert Pena Jr.
Becky was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 10, 1951 and was a member of the Franciscan Order, Catholic Daughters and VFW. She worked for Albertson's for over 27 years as a Deli Manager. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and her passions in life included serving the community and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, George (Patricia) Pena, Leticia (Ricardo) Venzor, and Rogelio (Erika) Gomez; eight grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Thomas, Matthew Garza, George Pena Jr, Raquel and Lorena Venzor, Zoey, Roman, and Remi Gomez; two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Christopher; siblings, Raymon and Roger Garza.
Viewing will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 4:00 p.m. and rosary service 5:00 p.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary 6630 S. US Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5353 US-85, Colorado Springs, CO 80911. Her remains to be interred at a later date in San Antonio, Tx.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the St. Dominic Catholic Church (Food Pantry).
