Becky Hendricks, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and child of God; passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer with her three sons by her side.
Becky was the second of six children born to Warren and Mondell Baker of Akron, Ohio. She earned a BA in Math from LeTourneau College in 1968. There she met and married her husband. They lived in West Chicago, IL for 17 years and had three wonderful sons. She worked for a CPA and attended West Chicago Bible Church. She earned her MBA from Northern Illinois University. The family moved to Monument, CO in 1988 where Becky worked for Tri-Lakes Cable.
Becky taught accounting at the University of Phoenix. She also ran her own accounting business for 20 years. Becky was a member of Monument Hill Church and Woodmen Valley Chapel where she volunteered with their children's programs until her passing. Becky loved Jesus and teaching the Bible to children. Becky taught this love and respect for God and young people to her sons, who work with children at their churches.
Becky enjoyed baking, knitting, reading, playing games with family, watching Food Network, and going to her grandchildren's events. She is remembered for her great intelligence, wisdom, sharp sense of humor, generosity, love, and patience. She was a steadfast friend to many and a beloved sister to her siblings.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Mondell Baker, her sister Peg Patrick, and her brother Jim Baker. She is survived by her brother Bruce (Joyce) Baker, and sisters Joan Currey and Cathy Morrison, and her children, Bill (Elisabeth) Hendricks, Warren (Lora) Hendricks, Arthur Hendricks, five grandchildren, and three great-grand children.
A celebration of Becky's life will be held at 10am on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Stone Chapel at Woodmen Valley Chapel in Colorado Springs, CO.

I will miss Becky greatly! She was a true friend at all times. We went through a lot of hard times together. We lifted each other in prayer and shared prayer concerns. Becky, I look forward to seeing you in heaven one day.
