Rex Davis Obituary
Rex is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ann, daughters Marsha Davis, Barbara (Dave) Ates, and Carolyn (Rick) Meyer and daughter-in-law, Cheri Davis, six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Honorary family members Thelma and Richard Dalrymple, Laura and Noah Wasserman, and Bonnie Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Ed.
Rex "never met a stranger". He was a loyal friend, a loving father and grandfather, a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, and a devoted husband to his wife, Ann.
A celebration of Rex's life will be held on Saturday, September 24th , 1:00 pm, at Highland Park Baptist Church, 2315 N. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs. See Cappadona Funeral Home website for complete obituary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Rex's memory to either Honor Flight of Southern Colorado, 5262 N. Nevada Ave., #130, PMB 242, Colorado Springs, CO 80918 or Highland Park Baptist Church, 2315 N. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO., 80909

We are so sad to lose a friend like Rex. He was a coworker, golf buddy & loved to go out & eat with Rex& Anne. We will miss him so much but he is in heaven with his son & we will see him again one day.

I met Rex at the Downtown Post Office in the '70's. Rex was the sweetest man I can ever remember meeting. Thank you Rex, for just always being yourself. See you next time in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
