Rhonda Knight Obituary

My heart is saddened at the news of Rhonda's passing. To the Knight and Hendon families, my thoughts and prayers are with you. One of my earliest memories are of Ken and me trick-or-treating with Rhonda and her big sisters, Kim and Alice, in Mission Hills - my four-year-old self envied their sparkling costumes - they were dressed up as angels complete with garland halos. Now angels are her associates. As we grew older and attended middle school, high school and our first years of college together, I always admired Rhonda's compassion for others and happy disposition. Traveling down with her and Ken to Santa Barbara in her sweet yellow VW bug will be a treasured highlight as she shared with us her deep faith in a loving Heavenly Father. Now her faith is perfect. You will be missed, lovely lady.

Heartbreaking. Rhonda made our high school experience very special. Our families lived a few houses down from the Hendon's when Kim and I were 4. After moving away we became close again in high school. What an impact she had on our lives! I wish her family all the strength possible as they journey through this difficult time. You need to know how special she was to all of us during our teenage years.

I was very saddened to learn about Rhonda. Although we haven't spoken in many years, I have fond memories of her growing up in Lompoc. The Hendon house was a great place to hang out, especially in High school. No matter how many of us, Tom and Sharon always welcomed us in. Although Rhonda was the youngest of the 3 girls, she always stood out. She had that wonderful smile and always had a good laugh at the ready. She had such a shining, positive energy about her. That's the Rhonda I will always remember. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to her family, I'm very sorry for your lose. God bless you.

Very sorry for your loss. Rhonda was a shinning star among us all. I will always cherish the friendship we had.

Such an amazing strong woman! She is definitely feeling no pain or sorrow now, but what a loss for the rest of us.

I know how much she will be missed by all. She was truly an amazing person who touched all she knew. I know my life was truly blessed for her having been in it. I will miss her and will always remember her fondly and share her love and stories of our great times and experiences with those I love. I love you all and may God bring you all comfort through this time knowing she will always be remembered.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Rhonda was a very sweet person. I have a lot of happy memories from high school and when I worked with her at McDonalds. She always had a beautiful smile. She will be Missed and Loved.....But Never Forgotten.

Prayers and sympathy go to Rhonda's entire family. While we didn't stay in touch as adults, she is fondly remembered as my first childhood friend. Her smile and positive happy personality always shined brightly. Very sorry for your loss.
