Richard "RA" Anderson

RA spent his early years on his family's ranch near Rush, CO. his family later moved to Rocky Ford and he graduated from Rocky Ford High School. He served 4 years in the Air Force. RA was a Colorado Springs Police Officer for nearly 30 years and retired as a Detective. He loved to fish and hunt. He and his brother were known for hunting rattlesnakes and selling their hides. He is survived by his wife, Shari, daughters Donna,Lori and Carrie,his son Dallas, and brother Bill,along with seven grandchildren and two soon to be great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his son, Scott, and parents Roy and Esther Anderson of Colorado Springs. A service will be held this summer in Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice of Casa Grande, AZ or the American Diabetes Associ
