Richard "Rick" L. Cimino, age 79, passed away on April 15, 2022 at his home in Peyton, Colorado after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Richard was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 3, 1943. He was a Westsider who grew up in Ivywild, and was a 1961 graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School.
He had retired from the City of Colorado Springs as a parts supervisor with Colorado Springs Fleet Transportation department. He retired in 2000. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many who knew him.
Rick owned a Sinclair gas station for many years, and was a volunteer for the Ivywild Fire Department. He also served briefly at the Colorado Springs Fire Department and the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Rick married Patricia Ann Green on February 14, 2004 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He loved shooting, drag racing, hot rods, tinkering around the ranch, and his flower garden.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Trish, of Peyton, Colorado; his children, Rick (Cathy) Cimino, Steven Cimino, Anthony (Laura) Mouriquand of Craig, Colorado, and Amanda (Mike Sferrazza) Maksym. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and his brother, Albert (Vicky) Cimino of Florissant, Colorado.
He will be dearly missed.
