Richard Daugherty Obituary

You guys have given me some wonderful memories to look back on. It saddens me to know that when I come home to visit, that you and Cricket won't be in the house across the street anymore, but I'll just think of all the fun times and I'll smile. See ya "Pop".

Just heared this afternoon about the loss of Dick. I would have been at the service, with my deepest sympathies. Your family is in my thoughts.

I will never work along side of you, until i get to that big pasture.You treated me like a person,eventhough i was working through the gateway program,atCJC.And for that i am sad.My condolences to the family of this great man.He will be dearly missed.

Dick, I miss you and Cricket so much. I always enjoyed going over to your house and getting picked on. When I and my parents lived on Curtis Road, I considered your home my "home away from home." I enjoyed learning liverpool rummy and feeding the animals. I was glad I got to see you and Gary when I went to visit my mom in May 2004, who passed away January 2005. It is hard to believe that it has been that long, it only seems like yesterday. I pray for strength for your family to get through this difficult time. Gary, it was good to see you. I wish I could be there. Please know that I send my love and condolences. Keep the faith, His love is eternal. He will never forsake us. God bless your family and keep you. Love and prayers,

You are missed by the many children you so inspired at the arena. Many a young life is now redirected and saved by your stern but sweet reproach. Hug Brian for me.

When the cowboy was created or mentioned,,,,the Lord probably thought of Dick.......he was a "hand",,,I know that he always made my day and I was proud to have him as a friend~

You have our deepest sympathy. We will miss Dick very much. He was a great friend.

Dick was like a father to me. He and Cricket have been in my life for almost as long as I can remember. Of course Gary and I were the closest, but I do remember going to the gymkana's with Mike and Rhonda too.



One of my favorite memories is when they lived near us and we could hear is Mule braying all day and night. Dick would always apologize when we had seen him for the noise. For those of you who knew him, it was always a very colorful explanation of the Mule.



Dick was a great guy and will be deeply missed by myself and my family. We love you, Tina Teakell Smyth and family.
