Dick meant so much to our family. He was my dads best friend and I just read of his death. I spent time with him in Bible Study and look forward to eternity together in Christ. Karen Abbotts(Wallace)

Dick was one of my closest friends. He often shared his faith in God which was of great comfort. Coffee at Starbucks was one of my favorite times together. I miss him so much and my deepest sympathies to his family.

I was a Nurse At Eisenhower Hosp. in th 70's. Dick was my pt. once and was a lovely man. BUT I took care of his mom Gertrude many times. We called her "Fluffy" because she was very particular about her lotions and potions and lovely nitegowns and bed jackets. Irene MacDowell our Head Nurse always assigned me to Fluffy because the younger nurses didn't like her fussy demands, but I loved her, and she told me many stories of her earlier life in Chicago. My grandma lived in Chicago, so Fluffy and I had a lot to talk about!
