Although a long time has passed, still remember Richard as a good human being as well as a 1st class co-worker during trying times at old Colorado Electronics. A man who learned from his experiences and supported others.

With the passage of time I've learned to appreciate even more what Richard (and others) managed to create/do in a start-up operation. Excellent job!!!

I only knew Dick for a few years, but he left an impression of a lifetime. Helping me get employed by TRW was a major step to getting a clearance that morphed into a govt position, and ended with a govt retirement at the GS-15 level. All because he believed I was worth becoming part of the TRW family. Will miss our railroad shop stories, and this photo shows the joy he had sharing those experiences with his son. Thanks for being part of my life.

To the Ferguson Family - I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I had the honor of working with Dick at TRW/EPI and out at Schriever. He was a wonderful person! He will be forever missed.

Dear family and friends of Dick Ferguson,

This is indeed the saddest news I've received in a very long time. I haven't seen Dick since I left TRW/Northrop Grumman in Colorado Springs in the early 2000's, but he will always hold a special place in my heart and memory. Dick and Tom Simmons, my first supervisor, hired me in 1988, to start my 20+ year career with the company.

Dick always served as a champion for his people and worked hard to look after our best interests. He kept an open door, open mind, and ready ear for us. He encouraged me, in word and by example, to become the best I could, to appreciate my co-workers, and find joy in the accomplishments possible through excellent teamwork. Dick ensured that what could have been "just another job" turned into a marvelous career. I will never, ever, forget Dick or stop feeling grateful for the positive influence he had on my life.

My love to you all,
Lynne (Linda)
