Donna & Family,
I am sorry for your loss. Richard was such a nice man and I know that he has been in such pain for so long. He is free now and he is watching over his loved ones so you will always have a guardian angel with you. Remember that it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. Please give me a call when things calm down for you and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I've always regarded a friend as someone that obligated me to be the person I could be, but gave me the freedom to be the person I am. Richard was such a friend to me. I am sure many regarded Richard a good friend. That's just the way he was. Donna, David, Dian, and Darin; Richard loved and was so proud of you all. He loved his grandchildren and he enjoyed telling stories about their latest exploits. There is no doubt that Richard is now singing in God's Heavenly Choir. The only question is, is he singing tenor or is he singing bass?

To Donna and family: We have very fond memories of Richard when he lived in our apartment in Wichita years ago, and many good times together. He's singing with the angels now! Our sympathies and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of Richards passing. He was special to me because he continued to try seeing Bob when he needed it. I hope to see you soon and look forward to seeing Richard in a better place some day.

Donna, David, Dian and Darren, We were saddened to hear of Richard's passing, but we know that now he is without the pain that racked him for these last 14+ months. You have our deepest sympathies and prayers. Richard was a dear friend and former classmate. He sang at our wedding 47 years ago, and we enjoyed seeing him a few times in these last few years. We will miss him dearly. Your friends, Don & Carolyn Worden

My sympathy goes out to the family of Richard, Kearns... but I KNOW he is in a better place singing with the angels... I enjoyed many fun choir trips with Richard, representing Friends Bible College..

I am so sorry to hear about Richards passing but I know that he is healthy and happy in heaven. I was in the same class as he was for 3 years of high school and 2 years of college at Friends Academy and College in Haviland, KS. He was a character and always kept things lively. He was a good friend to me. I want to send my sincere sympathy and prayers to Richards family. I know you will miss him very much. May God bess and comfort you.
