Richard Keltner Obituary
He was an Air Force Control Tower Operator stationed on Johnston Island near Hawaii. Later he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Eby of Wichita. After completing his military duties he studied for the gospel ministry and pastored for over 45 years: 3 years in Wichita, 22 years in Tulsa, 18 years in Colorado Springs, and two interims in Chicago.
Dick was devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia, sons Kenneth (Kathy) of Wisconsin, and Kip (Zann) of Colorado Springs, as well as a daughter Keri of Nampa ID. He was proud of his nine grandchildren: Kyle, Kevin, Cory, Keith, Jordan, Kurt, and Emily Keltner, along with Sammy and Austin Crofoot, and one great grandson, Hollis Keltner.
A memorial service will be held at Mesa Hills, Thursday, December 1, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Wilds Christian Camp, 1000 Wilds Ridge Rd. Brevard, NC 28712-7273.
