Richard Lambert Obituary

Richard Maxim Lambert was taken on Wednesday, 4 April, 2012 to be with his Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven. He was a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Richard was born on June 13, 1950. Preceding him in death were his parents, Richard and Fidelis (nee LeVasseur) Lambert of Michigan, and Richard's Sister Sandra Weber (Duwayne) from Mississippi. He is survived by his five sister's Carol Urbaniak (Bob), Jean Lambert, Linda Miller (Marty), Denise Schwartzly (Rick), Deanne Dubay (Dan), and brother Kevin Lambert (Lisa). Nephew Jeff Langelier (Kim), Niece Michelle Langelier (Kendal) were like brothers and sisters with Richard, along with many others. Finally, Richard was especially supportive of his very close friend and relative of over ten years, Gayle Hopper of Colorado Springs, Colorado and her parents, Mr. Roy and Barbara (deceased) Hopper of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Richard served in the U.S. Army and worked for over 10 years at the Canon City Prison, in Colorado. Richard was a faithful member of the Mountain View church of Christ in Colorado Springs, Co. A Memorial service will be held on 19 April, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Church of Christ, 1080 LaSalle, Colorado Springs, Co. Evangelist, Gordon Shields, will officiate at both the funeral and a graveside service 20 April at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Logan Veterans Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
