Our introduction to the Laugesens was after we moved to Hampden Heights when our three children were small. They had a wonderful wooden play structure in their backyard that attracted our kids, and through it we became friends with Dick and Elisabeth. Dick was kind, gentle and devoted to his family. He did woodworking as a hobby and delighted the children with his projects. Our own children considered the Laugesens as part of our family, and have many fond memories of them. We knew Dick as the loving, caring father and husband who always put his family first.
