Richard Miller Obituary

Richard Edward Miller, 87, passed away July 6, 2015. He was a Colorado Springs resident for 37 years. Richard graduated from MIT Boston, was a WWII US Navy Veteran, and managed Mechanical Engineering for Digital Equipment Corporation. He was proud to be part of the team who put our first man on the moon.

Richard was born on October 25, 1927 in Boston, Massachusetts. Richard is preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth Anne Gledhill (1986) and his second wife Ellen Gail Hobart (2013).

Richard is survived by a brother Robert Miller of San Carlos, CA; three children: Kathleen (Robert) Feder of Oviedo, FL; Steven (Terrie) Miller of Guntersville, AL; Joanne (Stephen) Mosher of Colorado Springs, CO; eight grandchildren: Michelle (Adolfo) Feder-Ortiz of Sanford, FL; LauraBeth (Matthew) Bennett of Benson, NC; Derek Miller of Coeur d'Alene, ID; Kyle (Sheena) Miller of Guntersville, AL; Courtney (Jamie Jimeno) Miller of Boston, MA; Autumn Dempsey of Colorado Springs, CO; Kimberly Dempsey of Winter Park, FL; Michael McMann of Colorado Springs, CO; and 9 great-grandchildren: Adolfo Ortiz-Feder (19), Eva Ortiz-Feder (15), Josef Ortiz-Feder (12), Tesla Center (14), Alexa Miller (10), Adyson Miller (7), Aaralyn Miller (5), Matthew Bennett, Jr. (22), and Meaghan Bennett (14).
