Richard William Moore Sr.

Richard Moore Obituary

July 13, 1932 - June 23, 2008. Richard died Monday at Memorial Hospital in Colo Spr, CO at 11:35am. He was born to David Sr. & Veronica (Okrentovich) Moore in Shamokin, PA. He married his still surviving wife of almost 54yrs Marian D (Henninger) on July 17, 1954. He proudly served our country, fought in Vietnam and retired from the Armed Forces. He lived a happy and fulfilling life spending the better part of it in his beloved mountains of Colorado. Richard was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother and Friend. Also surviving him are 2 sons, Roland- Sedalia; Richard Jr- Fountain; 4 daughters, Karen Villalovos- Colo Spr; Linda Mitchell- Fountain; Vivian Stonewall- Sedalia; Nichole Anderson- Fountain. 2 brothers Robert Moore- Hazleton PA; David Moore Jr- Coal Twnshp PA; 3 sisters Mary Lukus- E Petersburg, PA; Shirley Zimmerman- Coal Twnshp PA; Elizabeth Bentzel- Mechanicsburg PA. He has 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister's Ginnie Scicchitano & Peggy Reed and twin brother's Roland and Edward Moore. Memorial service at Pikes Peak Christian Church, 4955 Bradley Rd,on 06-27-08 11:00am (corner Bradley & Hancock).
