One of many most cherished memories of Rick was when I had my first son. My husband was in a terrible accident and I had a brand new baby. Nobody would be at home to help me so Rick and Pam invited me to stay with them until family came into town. After the first sleepless night I got up so tired and upset. Rick made me a cup of coffee, gave me the biggest papa bear hug, took the baby and told me to go lay back down for some rest. He was always the best papa to any of the kids that came through. He will be missed so much!
