Richard Alfred Parsons

Resident of Antioch
Richard Alfred Parsons of Antioch, CA passed away December 2, 2013 from esophageal cancer, with his wife Romelle and daughter Julia at his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet C Minnie and father, Alfred "Bud" Parsons. He is survived by loving aunts, uncles, mother-in-laws, sister and brother in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Born in Napa and raised in Anchorage and San Francisco, Rich received his BA in Psychology at SFSU and had a lengthy career at Bank of America, where he retired as a Group Operations Manager.
He was an avid reader, a lover of animals (especially the family cats, past and present), a music lover (especially Jazz), and an accomplished writer. We will miss his exceptional sense of humor, compassion, generosity and friendship.
